Born out of lockdown, Camden Open Air Gallery began by paying artists to paint the high street’s shutters while shops were closed. What started as a community initiative quickly became a cultural landmark.
Now a gallery, event space, and café in the heart of Camden. The brand needed an identity that reflected its graffiti roots, while scaling into a recognisable gallery brand.

We created an identity that captured Camden’s rebellious energy while building a system that could grow with the gallery. Logos inspired by the original shutter paintings were expanded into a flexible system for events, merch, and exhibitions.

In collaboration with graffiti and typography designers, we created 2D, 3D, and cartoon versions of the COAG logo. These were designed to be tagged, sprayed, and customised. Turning the logo into street art in its own right.
